DAY 1: CASABLANCA – RABAT

As soon as you get to Morocco, one of our drivers who speak English fluently will take you to visit Hassan II big Mosque by the seaside in Casablanca. After that, you are going to the capital city of Morocco ‘Rabat’ where you can enjoy visiting Hassan Tower as well as Kasbah of Oudaya to spend the rest of the day. and then, you are to stay the night in Riad within the Medina.

DAY 2: RABAT – MEKNES – VOLUBILIS – FES

We are travelling to Meknes directly after you have you have breakfast in Riad. It is one of the most beautiful imperial cities as it is famous with its old name the capital Ismailia associated with the name of Mulay Ismail. He governed the city about 3 centuries ago. He constructed huge walls which surrounds the old Medina. During the day in Meknes, out tour guide will lead you to visit historical sites such as; an old gate called Bab El Mansour, a water pool named Sehrij Souani and of course Mausoleum of Mulay Ismail. As you must feel hungry and tired, we are to have lunch before going to Volubilis. While our pause in the Roman Empire capital Remains Volubilis since BC, you are exploring the oldest buildings in Morocco. Later on, we will follow our track to Fes where you will spend the night in a hotel.

DAY 3: EXPLORING FES 

During the third day in Fes after having breakfast, we will go walking and discovering this old imperial city where we visit the gate of Royal Palace and headquarter left by the Jew which is the first Mellah in Morocco. Importantly, we make sure that you all get to see significant and historical places in Fes. Above all, the oldest university in the world named El Quaraween University established since 859 AD. After that, we will take you to see Attarine museum and a yard of Tanneries where pet animals’ skins get tanned for handicrafts. When you lunch in a restaurant and then go to visit the factory of pottery, we will be in the hotel later.

DAY 4: FES – IFRANE – AZROU – MIDELT

We will begin our trip after breakfast in the direction of Sahara taking pleasure of Ifrane. It is called Moroccan Switzerland as it is famous with nice forest and snow. After a while, we will have a pause in Azrou to walk in cedar forest to see some wild monkeys living there. For about two hours later through Atlas Mounts, you will get to Midelt where you will precede our journey across the summit of the mountains by Tizi Ntalghamt pass and along Ziz River and gorges into rocks of volcanoes. The next night will be in a hotel nearby.

DAY 5: MIDELT – ERRACHIDIA – MERZOUGA

As soon as you enjoy breakfast, we are to continue our plan towards Merzouga, but after getting there, we will pass across Errachidia and Erfoud where you are bound to see groves of palms and the beginning of Desert. Subsequently, you are going to follow the road by the side of Ziz getting to Erfoud and Rissani after you have lunch. In the afternoon, we will be in Merzouga in which you will be hosted with a cup of mint tea then move to a hotel.

DAY 6: MERZOUGA AREA – AND THE CAMEL TREK

When you have breakfast in the hotel, we will take you out discovering Merzouga with its Sudan culture especially their Gnawa music. Later on, you will be directed to a lake in Merzouga with its white birds. More than that, you will go to see a warehouse where many handicrafts sold cheaply. Afterwards, you are going on a picnic on camels directed by a local guy. During this time, we are moving on impressive sand dunes till we get to the middle of Sahara to put up our tent and spend the night after watching the sunset.

DAY 7: MERZOUGA – TODRA GORGES – DADES GORGES

Early morning, you will be up not to miss watching the most beautiful sunrise you have ever seen over golden sea sands of Erg Chebbi. Then, you are going back to Merzouga for breakfast and shower before travelling to Gorses of Todra via Rissani and Tinghir. This gorge is said to be the narrowest one in the country where to have your lunch. Later, we will follow our track to Dades Gorges where there are old castles and unique rocks called Monkey toes. Next to this Gorge, there is also a hotel where we will stay for dinner and bed.

DAY 8: DADES GORGES – OUARZAZATE – MARRAKECH

Concerning the eighth day of your journey after having breakfast, we will transport you across the high Atlas Mounts into Ouarzazate where we stop to visit the most wonderful Ksar in Morocco. It is Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou which is known by attracting film producers with it muddy tall walls and houses. Moreover, it is the place where Gladiator famous film took place. In this amazing Kasbah, you will have lunch before you travel to spend the night in Marrakech.

DAY 9: EXPLORE MARRAKECH

A local tour guide will lead you safely and carefully to visit all historical and cultural sites in the red city ‘Marrakech’. Your stay in this city will include a visit to Bahia palace and the holy graves of Saadian. Besides, after you have lunch, the English speaking guide is accompanying you to see the Mosque of Koutoubia. Above all, you are going to visit Jamaa El-fna where a lot of people gather to enjoy entertaining activities and watching snake magicians. At the same place, you are going to walk within souks selling handicrafts such as woolen carpets and bags. By the end of this day, you will be back to the hotel.
