SHARED 3 DAYS MARRAKECH DESERT TOUR TO MERZOUGA

Day 1: Marrakech – Boumalne Dades(6h00 drive)

Your three-day journey will begin in Marrakech at 7 o’clock in the morning towards Merzouga with pauses in some wonderful and historical sites. At first, you will continue your excursion through the peak of Atlas mountains by Tizi N-Tichka in which you will see impressive landscapes. After that, we will have a break to explore Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou which is a UNESCO world heritage centre. It is also a destination of many film makers from all over the world. Continuously, we will reach Ouarzazate and keep on to pay a visit to Kasbah Taourirt. Having lunch then start driving towards Boumalne Dades by the way of Valley of roses. Later on, you will be in Dades Valley for the night and dinner in a bungalow.

Day 2: Boumalne Dades – Merzouga

When you enjoy your breakfast, we will take a way past Kasbahs and Tinghir large oasis. Then we are taking a turn by side of the valley which leads to Toudga deep gorges. Over there, you are to see very big cliffs and have a delicious lunch in a café, but in the afternoon, you will be taken to Rissani to delight its dates with a very high quality. More than that, you be picked up with old trading caravans through Sahara till you get to Tombocto. Continuously, we are going across desert with red rocks until we get on wonderful golden sand dunes of Erg Chebbi which you will cross by ridding guided camels. It is a great opportunity to watch the sun go down and experience a desert camp. Thereafter, you are going to relax under the stars and around a camp fire on which your dinner will be cooked. Before bedtime, the hosts will share with you their culture especially music with tambourines and drums.

PS; Should you wish to stay at a private tent with proper bedding and freshen up at a private room in the lodge the following day in Merzouga before departure back to Marrakech, there is a supplement of 10,00 Euros per person.

Day 3: Merzouga – Marrakech (9h00 drive)

In the morning, you get up early to watch the sunrise and ride camel going back so that you will run into the driver who will transport you to Ouarzazate. After a nice time and lunch, we will travel back to Marrakech by the a road across the Atlas Mounts.

So after you spend your 3-day-desert trip, it will come to the end in Marrakech about the sunset.
