MOROCCO IMPERIAL CITIES TOUR 9 DAYS FROM CASABLANCA

 Day 1: Casablanca – Rabat – Meknes

You will be taken from the hotel where you stay so that you would pay a visit to the biggest minaret of Hassan II mosque. After that, you will travel to Rabat which is the capital city of Morocco. During your existence in this city, you are going to see the Royal Palace Mechouar as well as the gate of Chelah. Later, you will be led to walk in a yard where you will visit the Tower of Hassan. By the end of the day, you are travelling to Meknes where you will spend the night.

Day 2: Meknes – Volubilis – Fes

As soon as you enjoy your breakfast, we will go around Meknes exploring some historical sites. At first, you are visiting El Hdim square in which you will see snake magicians other entertainers. After that, you will go to see Bab El Mansour. It is a big gate which enters into the old Medina and quarter of Jew with huge walls. A while later, you will move to visit the Royal Granaries. Then, we will take departure towards Fes through the holy town of Mulay Idriss and having a pause in Volubilis. It is remain of the Roman Empire since BC. Afterwards, we are going to pursue our journey to Fes where to spend the night in cultural hotel.

Day 3: Fes

In Fes after breakfast, our English speaking guide will lead you to discover the old Medina with its narrow pathways and old minarets. Moreover, you are enjoying a walk in Fes Souks. After this, you will be taken by our guide to visit Fes monuments and some cultural places; in other words, you are visiting tannery and a cooperative where handicrafts are made.

Day 4: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Merzouga

When you have breakfast, we will leave for Merzouga, but we will have some pauses during the way because there are a lot of wonderful sites to see. At first, we will pass through Ifrane city with its beautiful nature and tile-roofed buildings. It is the beginning of cedar forest until we get to Azrou where we stop to enjoy its big forest with long trees on which you will see monkeys. An hour later, you will reach Midelt for lunch and continue our trip following Ziz River which leads to Ziz deep gorges. Thereafter, you will keep on your way continuously till you get to Merzouga.

Day 5: Merzouga – Khamlia – Erg Chebbi

During this day, you will have a different experience of desert life. In this place, you will enjoy walking on Erg Chebbi sands and see how nomads live in Sahara. Later, you will be directed to see Khamlia. It is a called ‘black village’ where you are to taste their way of living and Gnawa music. Besides, Hassan family will host us nicely for lunch made up of traditional pizza in a camp. Enthusiastically, you will go across dunes by camels so as to watch the sunset and spend a good night in a tent within yellow sands. After the sunset, you are to stay up to enjoy a delicious tagine for dinner and listen to berber music under the stars.

Day 6: Merzouga – Rissani – Todgha gorges – Dades gorges

As the sun is coming out, you are up to enjoy the wonderful view of the sunrise reflecting on the golden sands. Afterwards, you will go back to Merzouga for breakfast and shower. Subsequently, we continue our way to Rissani souks of traditional manufacturing and dates. During the way to this town, we are taking pleasure of palms and muddy buildings of Tinjdad village. Later on, you will be at Toudgha Gorge nearby we would enjoy our lunch in a traditional restaurant. As soon as we have lunch, we are to continue our way to Dades Gorge for dinner and shelter.

Day 7: Dades gorges – El Kalaa Magona – Skoura – Ouarzazate – Marrakech.

Before we go for a walk in Dades Gorge and discover caves of nomads, we have our breakfast. Then, we will travel back through Kella Magona by the side of Skoura large oasis and the valley of flowers. In addition to that, we will get to Ouarzazate so that we would go to see film studios as well as Ksar Ait Ben Haddou. It is the most beautiful Kasbah in the country that’s why it attracts a lot of visitors and film makers. Later on, we will continue our path to Marrakech for accommodation next to Jamaa El-fna square.

Day 8: Marrakech

After having breakfast, a local tour guide will accompany you to see important sites in the red city. You are walking in Jamaa El Fna where to see entertaining activities and magicians. After that, you will keep walking in the narrow streets of old Medina with souks selling traditional stuff. The guide will also make sure that you all visit Marrakech historical monuments and palaces.

Day 9: Marrakech – Casablanca

In the last day, we will take you back directly to the airport of Casablanca.
