6 DAYS IMPERIAL CITIES AND SAHARA DESERT TRIP

Day 1: Meet you in Casablanca airport and drive to Fes

As soon as you land in Casablanca airport, you will meet one of our English-speaking drivers who will pick you up to Fez. It is an old imperial city where you will spend the first night.

Day 2: Fes sightseeing

Directly after having your breakfast in Riad, your first excursion will cover the historical sites of Fes such as old Medina where you will walk in its pathways and narrow alleys. Afterwards, you will be directed to firstly visit Royal Palace wooden Gate as well as headquarter of the Jew who settled down in Morocco in the 16^th century. Above all, we will be certain that you all visit famous places like; The oldest university in the world “Al Quaraouine University’ founded by Fatima Alfihrya in 859 AD. More, you will go to see the Tanneries where tanners tan animal skins and make shoes, blanket, bags and wallets. Later, you are going to follow your steps towards Attarine museum and Mulay Idriss mausoleum. When you have lunch, you will walk to drop in on the cooperation of tiles.

Day 3: Fes – Merzouga – Camel ride – Erg Chebbi dunes and night in a camp

You will leave Fes after you have breakfast in Riad towards Merzouga going along Ifrane and Azrou where you will enjoy natural views of cedar forest with apes. You will also go via the Middle Atlas Mountains, Tizi Ntalghamt and Ziz Gorges whereby you can see the whole surroundings and take pictures of volcanic rocks and hints of desert. Later on, you will get to Errachidia city for lunch and relax so that you can pursue our trip along Ziz Valley into Erfoud, Rissani and Merzouga. As soon as you have a glass of mint tea, we will keep our baggage in a safe room so we can move on a picnic on camels for a Berber camping within large distance of golden dunes of Erg Chebbi which is considered as the highest sand point in Africa. It is really unforgettable experience of about one hour and half on camel humps. Thereafter, we will get to the preferred place to set up 3 local tents and try Berber’s way of living. These tents are large well-equipped so we can provide soft mattresses, blankets and pillows, food and any other needed facilities. We will have delicious dinner around fire and music with Berber traditional instruments.

Day 4: Merzouga – Toudgha Gorges – Dades Valley

In the early morning, you are getting up in order that you would see the best sunshine ever across yellow sands. A short period of time later, you will ride back camels to the hotel bringing back the wonderful changing view of Erg Chebbi. Having breakfast and a bath at the hotel, then you will start your way to Tinghir and Toudgha Gorges. The latter is thought to be the narrowest gorge in the country. The next destination is Dades Valley for dinner and shelter.

Day 5: Dades Valley – Ait Benhaddou Kasbah – Marrakech

When you have breakfast in the hotel, we will continue out trip via Dades Valley in the direction of Kalaat Mgouna to Ouarzazate. During this time, you will have a chance to save pictures of various angles of the valley and Kasbah till you get to the countryside of flowers and nearby Skoura Valley. After that, you are coming across Ouarzazate which holds the production of foreign and Moroccan films every year. It is called Hollywood of Africa. Then, you will have your lunch in Ait BeHaddou Kasbah. It is the biggest Kasbah in the country and is a UNESCO historical place. Afterwards, we will follow our way passing a high summit called Tizi N-tichka where you will have a pause to take pleasure of wonderful landscapes and find out more about the cooperative of Argan oil. By the sunset, you will be at one of Marrakech hotels.

Day 6: Marrakech Sightseeing

As soon as you get up and enjoy your breakfast in the hotel, you will begin discovering a lot of amazing things about the red city of Marrakech. In other words, we make sure that our visitors see all the most interesting sites of Marrakech culture and history consisting of the Garden of Majorelle Gardens and Koutoubia Tower as well as the Saadyin Tombs. More than that, you are visiting an old Palace called Bahia. After doing this, you will adjourn for rest and a mouth-watering lunch in a restaurant.
