4 DAYS FES TO MERZOUGA DESERT TOUR

Day 1: Fes – Merzouga

You will come across intentionally your driver next to the hotel. It’s An English speaking guy who is going to start out your journey from Fes to Merzouga. After that, you will enjoy your excursion by sightseeing a large cedar forest from Ifrane to Azrou where you will see wild monkeys and experience horseback. Later, you will head towards Sahara passing through mountainous city of Midelt and Ziz Valley to see Erfoud oasis where you will be able to take wonderful photos. In the afternoon, you will be in Merzouga to stay for the night.

Day 2: Merzouga Camel Trek – Night in Desert Camp Bivouac

A kind of sand called Erg Chebbi is considered as the real beginning of Moroccan Desert. Certain sand hills in this site reach 245 meters high. However, its visitors enjoy the golden sunrise and sunset more. After enjoying your morning, the driver will take you by a car to meet camel which you will ride across sands by a camel’s guide. An hour later, you will reach your camp to relax. Afterward, you can go out for a walk on sands when your guide cook your dinner.

Day 3: Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley

As soon as you get up early, you will enjoy amazing sunrise across the golden dunes of sand. After the sunshine, You are going back to a hotel in Merzouga for breakfast before heading in the direction of Togra Gorge and Tinghir as well till you arrive at Dades Gorge and the largest plateau that splits the chain of Atlas mountains and the Mount of Saghrou. You will have a chance to take nice photos of eye-catching landscapes of pink mineral rocks in the river. More than that, you are going to for a walk in order to take the sunset by the valley which sinks into the Dades Gorge.

Day 4: Dades Valley – Back to Fes

During the last day, you will go by the wonderful Valley of flowers and a nice site called Skoura. Meanwhile, you are taking back the road through the Atlas Mounts passing by Midelt and Azriou till you get to your arrival point in Fes.
