4 DAYS 3 NIGHT FROM FES TO MARRAKECH

Day 1: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Arfoud – Rissani – Merzouga

In the first day morning, we will begin our trip after breakfast in the direction of Sahara taking pleasure of Ifrane. It is called Moroccan Switzerland as it is famous with nice forest full of pine and cedar trees and snow. After a while, we will pursue our track to Azrou where you are going to see a large cedar forest with some wild monkeys living there. For about two hours later through Atlas Mounts, you will get to Midelt where you will precede our journey across the summit of the mountains by Tizi Ntalghamt pass and along deep gorges carved on volcanic rocks. More than that, you will see vast farms filled with palm trees before reaching the desert dunes. Over there, you will stay in a small hotel equipped with bathrooms, showers and air-conditionings for each room. Clearly, The first day trip can reach almost 10 hours.

Day 2: Merzouga Area – Desert – Berber camp

In the morning of the second day, you may choose to do something in your own. In other words, you have a free morning to go for a walk on sand dunes or you can take 4*4 jeep for a hike. After lunch, you will get ready for a camel ride, you will be taught how to put on Saharian turban around your head and face for protection from the sunburn. In addition, our guide helps you get on camels safely. During your picnic through sand dunes of Sahara, you will take nice photos. About an hour later, you shall reach the middle of Desert where you will be hosted into your well-equipped camp with a glass of tea. As the sunset is getting closer, you are to go up a sand hill to watch it. Then, the tour guide will cook a local dinner on the fire camp. Furthermore, you will listen to historical tales about the desert. After you enjoy your dinner under the stars, you are going to enjoy clean air and stillness of Sahara. In particular, you will be provided with nice mattresses and blanket, but campers, during winter, are given sleeping bags for more warmth. This picnic takes almost an hour and half by camels.

Day 3 : Merzouga – Toudgha Gorges – Dades Valley.

Early morning, you will get up ealier so as not to miss watching the most beautiful sunrise you have ever seen over golden sea sands of Erg Chebbi whose colour keeps changing as the day passes by. Then, you are going back to Merzouga for breakfast and shower before travelling to Gorses of Todra via Rissani and Tinghir. This gorge is said to be the narrowest one in the country where to have your lunch. Later, we will follow our track to Dades Gorges where there are old castles and unique rocks called Monkey toes. Occasionally, you will go for a walk through these gorges in order to save some fantastic photos. Concerning dinner and shelter, we will stay in a small equipped hotel above Dades valley.

Day 4: Dades Valley – Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou – Tizi N-tichka Pass – Marrakech.

When you have breakfast in the hotel, we will continue out trip via Dades Valley in the direction of Kalaat Mgouna to Ouarzazate. During this time, you will have a chance to save pictures of various angles of the valley and Kasbah till you get to the countryside of flowers and nearby Skoura Valley. After that, you are coming across Ouarzazate which holds the production of foreign and Moroccan films every year. It is called Hollywood of Africa. Then, you will have your lunch in Ait BeHaddou Kasbah. It is the biggest Kasbah in the country and is a UNESCO historical place. Afterwards, we will follow our way passing a high summit called Tizi N-tichka where you will have a pause to take pleasure of wonderful landscapes and find out more about the cooperative of Argan oil. By the sunset, you will be at one of Marrakech hotels.
