3 DAYS SHARED MARRAKECH TO FES DESERT TOUR

Day 1: Marrakech – Dades (7 hours drive)

This trip will begin from Marrakech to Fes at half past seven in the morning. During the first day, we will go to Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou via the summits of the Atlas Mountains by Tizi N-Tichka pass and along Berber villages. Later on, we are to get to Ksar Ait Ben Haddou which held many films production. It is also a world heritage of UNESCO. After that, we will continue our trip to Ouarzazate where we are going to have lunch and next to which we are visiting Kasbah of Taourirt. In the afternoon, we will follow the valley of Roses towards Boumalne Dades where we will spend the night in the inn situated in Dades valley.

Day 2:Dades – Merzouga (4 hours drive)

Today when you have breakfast, we are going to Tinghir oasis by the road across thousands Kasbahs. In other words, we will take the pleasure of great views. At Tinghir,  we will take a turn across the oasis where you are going to go for a walk and enjoy landscapes covered with cattle and herds until we reach Toudgha gorges. After lunch in Toudgha, we will pursue our trip to Rissani which is known as the last gate into Sahara. Later, we will go across a plain with black volcanic rocks towards Merzouga where we will meet camels which we will ride to the heart of Erg Chebbi sand dunes. About half an hour later, we are to reach our camp under which we will spend our night especially after we watch the sunset and have a tajine for dinner. In addition, you will see the moon coming up over the sands while you are listening to nomad music.

Day 3: Merzouga – Fes (8 hours drive)

As soon as you enjoy your breakfast, we will return to Rissani where we will run into a new driver and separate with your former group that will go back to Marrakech. The new English speaking driver will take you to Fes, but before getting there, you will go along Ziz valley and across Errachidia. 2 hours later, you will reach Midelt for lunch after crossing the peaks of the Atlas Mount hills via Tizi Ntalghamt. Subsequently, you will continue your way along cedar Forest of Azrou where you might see some monkeys. And then, you will keep travelling across Ifrane towards Fes. It is another imperial city where your trip ends up.
