10 DAYS MARRAKECH IMPERIAL CITIES

Day 1 : arrival to Marrakech

After you land in Marrakech, the tour guide will lead an excursion to Ourika Valley where you are to explore Berber villages and their way of living. After that, you are coming back to Marrakech for the night in a hotel.

Day 2:Marrakech Tourism

During this day, with the tour guide’s attendence, you will be able to explore the most important sites in the red city such as Saadian tombs, some palaces and the old medina. Later, you are going to Jamaa Lafna for a walk and enjoy seeing snake magicians and music players. After that, you will be back to your hotel.

 Day 3: Marrakech – Casablanca – Rabat.

As soon as you finish having your breakfast, we are going to follow our way to the biggest city in Morocco. It is Casablanca where you will visit some interesting places including: Muhamed fifth and United Nation squares then you will go to see the tallest minaret in the world of Hassan mosque which is situated by the seaside. Before travelling to the capital city of the country ‘Rabat’, we are to have lunch in Casablanca. An hour later, we will get to Rabat so you can visit Elwadaya Kasbah as well as the tower of Hassan II. Besides, we are going to see Muhammed fifth’s Mausoleum and other historical sites. After doing that, you are to spend the night in a hotel.

Day 4: Rabat – Meknes – Volubilis – Fes

During the seventh day, we will travel to Meknes after breakfast in the hotel. When we reach Meknes, we will spend a good time exploring this city where we are going to see the gate of Bab Elmansour, Lhdim Square and Mausoleum of Mulay Ismail. Thereafter, we will pursue our trip to the Roman Empire ancient city built since BC. It is called Volubilis and was considered the capital of Mouritania. Subsequently, after you discover the ruins of the Romans, we will go straight to another old imperial city ‘Fes’ in which you will spend the night in a hotel.

Day 5:Fes tourism

After having breakfast, the local guide will help you begin exploring the city especially the old Medina. Subsequently,you will also go to visit Bou Inania Quranic school in which you will see young people memorize Quran. More than that, you will head to see tanneries of Chouara where leather is made from sheep and cows skins. After that, you will be teaken to visit the oldest university in the world ‘El Quaraouine University’ which was built since 859 AD. After the guide makes sure you visit all the important sites, you are returning to Riad for dinner and bed.

Day 6: Ifrane – Midelt – Erfoud – Rissani – Merzouga desert

A night later after having breakfast, we will pursue our tour indirectly to Moroccan Sahara because we will have a pause in Ifrane. It is a mountainous city known by snow and horse ridding fantasy. We call it “The Moroccan Switzerland”. About an hour later, we will continue our excursion towards Azrou where there is a big cedar forest. Over there, you will enjoy wilderness and wild animals like monkeys and touring on horseback. Afterward, our trip will go on through the Atlas Mountains, visiting Midelt city and from Erich Town to the gate of Sahara Erfoud and Rissani. It is a great place where there is a large oasis full of palm trees. When you arrive at Merzouga for lunch, you will go on a picnic across the sands by camels. During the way to the camp, you are to enjoy the sunset before you gather to have dinner around a camp fire. It is a great experience to spend the night under the tent in the middle of the desert.

Day 8: Merzouga – Toudgha Gorges – Dades valley and ravine.

After enjoying the sunrise, you will come to meet your driver who will go through wonderful landscapes of the desert as the day elapses towards Toudgha gorges where you may choose to have a walk within high volcanic rocks before pursuing your path to Dades Gorges where to spend the night.

Day 9: Dades gorges – Rose valley – Skoura – Ait Ben Haddou – Atlas Mountains – Marrakech

In the beginning of this day, we will take the road to Ouarzazate by going across Kalaa Magouna and along the valley of Skoura and Roses. Later, we will go along Ounila river towards a wonderful city full of Kasbahs and imprssive sites which attract many film makers around the world. It is Ouarzazate where to go to sightseeing Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou. This Ksar is known by attracting foreign film producers and it is a UNESCO World heritage site. Later, we will go across the Atlas Mountains peaks via Tizi N-Tichka. It is a nice pass whereby you will enjoy wonderful views and take some photos. After that, you will reach the red city Marrakech where you will spend the following night.

Day 10: Marrakech – Transfer to airport

After you have breakfast in the hotel, your journey finally comes to an end.

According to tourists who land in the late afternoon will have choice of a picnic to Ourika valley, but concerning the others, their journey will begin after breakfast and last till at five o’clock in the afternoon.
